If you are looking for a more intimate hot air balloon experience the price goes up significantly. Expect to pay around $1500 – $3000 for a private flight with the higher end price usually coinciding with weekend bookings.

Is a hot air balloon ride in Napa worth it?
Absolutely! There is nothing like the views provided by a hot air balloon experience, especially in Napa. My first trip I was very hesitant if it would be worth the money (mainly because I’m a little fearful of heights). I was shocked to learn that hot air balloons glide ever so smoothly over the vineyards so I’ve never felt woosey or scared. Since then I’ve taken many rides with my friends visiting town. This is because flights take off in the early morning so it makes a great activity prior to wine tasting.
How long is a hot air balloon ride?
Hot air balloon ride times vary by weather, but Napa Valley Aloft asks that you reserve 3.5-4 hours for the full trip. In air time also varies but it can range from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes, again, depending on weather.
