The wine tasting experience at the Baldassari Wine Lounge is designed to be intimate, casual, and deeply tied to the family’s boutique winemaking roots. Located on the vibrant Windsor Town Green in Sonoma County, it offers a welcoming, living-room-like atmosphere rather than a rigid, formal tasting counter.
Matt and Dom started Baldassari Wines in 2003 with 92 cases of Bennett Valley Syrah. Dom was exiting a long career in the mail industry; and Matt, who graduated from UC Davis in Fermentation Science, was working as assistant winemaker at Quivira Vineyards.
Over twenty years years later Matt is now the winemaker at Robert Young Estate Winery, and Dom enjoys greeting guests at our tasting lounge in downtown Windsor, CA. Come visit us and experience the friendly hospitality and wines we have to offer.
Our Wines
Baldassari Wines is a boutique family winery specializing in small-lot, highly acclaimed varietals, showcasing small vineyard sites in Sonoma County that are grown by independent growers. We continue to pursue sites and growers who care immensely about the varietals they produce. Sonoma County is a premier wine region in the world and our wines are crafted with intent and purpose to showcase that.
