Nestled amidst the picturesque mountains just beyond the outskirts of San Diego, Mermaid Valley Vineyard enjoys a unique microclimate characterized by abundant sunshine and refreshing coastal breezes.

Mermaid Valley Vineyard was born from the dream of Kim and Scott Flinn, who, in 2013, set out to create a vineyard that embodied the best of California winemaking. With a deep respect for the land and a love for the art of winemaking, they planted their first vines in 2014.

Over the years, they have faced the challenges and joys that come with each vintage, learning from nature and perfecting their craft. Their dedication has paid off, with multiple award-winning wines that capture the essence of Ramona Valley.

Our Wines

Spanning over five acres, Mermaid Valley Vineyard is home to 12 distinct varietals, each carefully chosen to thrive in our unique microclimate. Our vineyard benefits from the cooling coastal breezes that flow through the west end of Ramona, allowing our grapes to ripen slowly and develop their full, rich flavors.

Whether it’s crafting a bold and robust wine or a more elegant and refined blend, we focus on creating wines that reflect the character and quality of our estate. From the initial planting to the final bottle, every step is carefully considered to produce wines that we are proud to share.

Among our varietals, you’ll find the rare Negrette, a bold and fruity red that is a true testament to the diversity of our vineyard.
