Modus Operandi Cellars bases out of a top-op-the-line Custom Crush facility in the heart of St. Helena, CA. We are a boutique brand producing 2k cases per year with most of our wines only sold direct to consumer. Owner Jason Moore picked up an interest in wine as a fine-dining waiter in Dallas TX and ultimately moved to Napa Valley in 2002 to pursue his dream of making wine. Entirely self-taught, Jason started off crafting small-batch wines in a garage and built his philosophy on winemaking around the insights of his peers. Realizing there are so many styles and ways to make wine, he structured his approach based on what he believed to be the best bits of knowledge around theory and application, forming his own unique ‘method of operation’, or, ‘Modus Operandi’. MO was officially branded by Jason in 2004 and today he produces each wine with great passion and attention to detail. Because of the nature of our operation, we are only able to see guests by advance appointment. We hope to host you and share our wines some day soon. Cheers!
