Welcome to Quivira Vineyards, a family-owned winery dedicated to the long-term health of our estate and the surrounding community. Since our founding in 1981, we have embraced organic farming practices that prioritize biodiversity and the well-being of our entire ranch.
Our cellar is led by winemaker Hugh Chappelle, who is committed to crafting exceptional wines—primarily Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rhône varieties—characterized by balance, freshness, and complexity. We believe that our vines’ health reflects the land’s vitality.
Explore our picturesque estate, where the lush gardens boast over 100 raised beds of heritage produce, all while supporting local ecosystems. Join us for farm-to-table and Winemaker dinners, where you can savor the flavors of our estate alongside our meticulously crafted wines. Discover why Quivira is not just a winery, but a celebration of sustainable farming, community, and the art of winemaking.
Just 10 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, our peaceful setting offers the perfect escape.
Our Wines
The property’s Mediterranean climate and well-draining soils enable Rhône varieties to thrive. Quivira is at the forefront of blending Rhône varieties in Dry Creek and stands out from other New World products in the initial flavor profile. Our Rhône varieties—mainly Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre have grown only a couple of hundred yards apart from one another.
