The Rued family’s connection to Sonoma County winegrowing spans nearly 150 years. In 1876, Henry Rued left his vineyards in Switzerland and immigrated to Northern California to pursue his passion for grape growing. He began working with Beringer Brothers in Napa Valley before purchasing his own land in 1882 and planting his first vineyard.
Today, the Rued family farms 160 acres of vineyards across three of Sonoma County’s most respected wine regions: Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, and Alexander Valley.
From barrel tastings to freshly made pizza, Rued winery is a place where wine, tradition, and family come together.
