Frequently Asked Questions

So what exactly is Priority Wine Pass?

Priority Wine Pass is a membership program that will help elevate your wine tasting experience. We provide the best discounts in the most popular wine regions across the US. Our discounts include those at hand-picked wineries, wine bars, hotels, restaurants and transportation companies. We also provide concierge-type service for our members for personalized wine tasting recommendations based on what they like.

How does it work?

As soon as you purchase a membership you will receive a Priority Wine Pass as a PDF that you can print or show on your smart phone at our partner wineries and businesses. You can use it the same day of purchase and if you opted in you can receive a physical pass by mail. As soon as you purchase your membership you can also submit a recommendation request via out concierge page. Within 72 hours we’ll provide you with a personalized itinerary which often includes additional discounts to the ones found on our website.

How long is the pass good for?

Your Priority Wine Pass is good a year (365 days) from your purchase date. Within that time you can use it as many times as you like.

How do the 2 for 1 tastings work?

2 for 1 means you buy one tasting and get the second free or in other words 50% off a tasting for 2. So as we mentioned you can get away with 1 pass per couple to redeem the 2 for 1 deals. These wine tasting deals vary from winery to winery so it is always best to check out website or app prior to your trip. Also if you are tasting by yourself you can redeem this offer as 50% off a single tasting.

Can other people use my wine pass?

A Priority Wine Pass membership, does provide access to many 2 for 1 deals. This means you buy one tasting and get the second free or in other words 50% off a tasting for 2. You can get away with 1 pass per couple for the 2 for 1 deals, but we like to recommend 2 passes so you can take advantage of all of our offers. Deals vary from winery to winery so it is always best to look up the wineries on our site prior to your trip. Also if you are tasting by yourself you can redeem these types of offers as 50% off a single tasting.

Why should I buy one?

Priority Wine Pass can save you hundreds and often pays for itself after your first trip. Beyond this our concierge service will take the guess work out of planning the perfect trip. Save yourself countless hours of research and the feeling that you could be missing out. Wineries, events, and tasting experiences are always changing. Our recommendations are up-to-date with local happenings and customized to your preferences. Experience wine county like a local!

So what's the catch?

There is none! Unlike other wine tasting coupon programs out there we keep it simple and don’t require you to take any extra steps like “checking in” on your social networks. We focus on partnering with our wineries so that there are no hidden surprises. Being a Priority Wine Pass member ensures preferential treatment and our wineries are happy to elevate your experience!

How many passes do I need?

If you plan to go tasting in Monterey, the Sierras, and/or Oregon we like to recommend one wine pass for each person in your party. That's because many wineries in these regions will offer a complimentary tasting for each person with a pass. In all of our other regions we typically recommend one pass per couple (and one more if there is an odd man out). More details can be found on our FAQ page.
